Del Valle (pronounced del VAL ee) is a town in Travis County, Texas, United States. The population was 2,476 at the 2000 census. It is about 7 miles southeast of Austin and is part of the Austin-Round Rock metro area.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 2,476 people, 114 households, and 82 families residing in the town. The population density was 213.8/mi². There were 131 housing units at an average density of 26.6/km² (69.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 63.10% White, 13.78% African American, 0.76% Native American, 1.92% Asian, and 20.44% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 50.88% of the population.
31.98% were married with children, 25.40% were married with no children, 11.15% were single with children, 32.04% were single with no children, 10.91% were divorced, 11.25% were separated, and 3.05% were widowed. The average household size was 3.32. The median age was 30 years. For every 100 females there were 98.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 81.7 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $42,482. The per capita income for the town was $15,858.
