Del Oro High School

Del Oro High School is located in Loomis, California, and is a part of the Placer Union High School District. It was founded in 1958 and currently has over 1600 students attending. Del Oro's mascot is the golden eagle, and it has a highly acclaimed football team. It has a remarkable dropout rate of less than 1%[1]. Many of DO's teachers are return students who felt so connected Del Oro they wanted to continue to be a part of the school spirit.
