DEKA Research & Development Corporation is a small research company founded in 1982 by Dean Kamen, consisting of nearly 200 engineers, technicians, and support staff. The name DEKA is derived from Dean Kamen's name.
The company is located in an old Amoskeag Millyard building in Manchester, New Hampshire.
