The Degodia Somali are found in the border areas of kenya and ethiopia ,in the Liban Zone of Ethiopia Somali region and parts of central somali. They keep the best camel breed, oorta type and cattle in southeastern rangelands of Ethiopia and northern kenya. they speak a unique somali accent which is sometimes referred to as the original somali dilect. they are headed by A WABAR.they immigrsted from somali nearly 200 years ago. they form a close net of fammilies mostly they reside along the Somalia/Ethiopia border in the rangelands around the dawa and hubiweine River. The degodia depend on pastoralism and are known for breeding an excellent Borana species of cattle.among the famous personalities in kenya is the kenyan minister for rural development, mr mohamed abdi.......
