Deccan College of Engineering & Technology is a reputed engineering college in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. It was established in 1984 by Dar-us-Salam Educational Trust to serve the interests of the community. The college is housed in a building with seven floors with plinth area of 22 sq. feet on each floor. Nine Different Departments, Laboratories, Workshops, Library, Office, Lecture Halls & Staff rooms are housed in this building. DCET is affiliated to Osmania University. The college is headed by Prof. M. Amir Ali, B.E, M.E.

Unlike many other engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh, DCET is in the heartland of the city of Hyderabad. It imparts high quality education quite unparalleled in the whole of Andhra Pradesh. It offers a great degree of exposure to the students by attracting various national level technical organizations, organizing symposiums, workshops and seminars to the growing needs of the students in the fiercely competitive world. Close linkage with industry and organizations ensures that the students get a feel of the real world market rather than just the theoretical subjects.

In the beginning the college offered only 4 courses with a humble student intake of 180. Now the college offers B.E. courses in eight disciplines viz:
