Decca Aitkenhead (born Jessica Aitkenhead c1971) is a journalist and broadcaster. She studied Politics at Manchester University before moving to London to write for the Independent on Sunday. Later she went to work for The Guardian and The Observer. She also writes for the London Evening Standard, and is a contributor to BBC Radio. Wrote a book about travrelling round the world to poverty stricken locales and dropping ecstacy entitled 'The [Promised Land: Travels in search of the perfect E]'**. It probably seemed cool at the time but she's going to have trouble being taken seriously on Question Times, no?
