Is this really the appropriate title for this category? Several of the articles that were in here have been removed (some by me) because they were not decanonized per se, just removed from the liturgical calendar, as even the category summary says. And some, like Saint Sarah, were never actually canonized to my knowledge. I think the name of this category should be changed to more accurately reflect what it's supposed to contain.--Cúchullain t/c 18:04, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

I agree. Farmer refers to these saints as 'suppressed saints' or 'saints no longer in the universal calendar'. The latter seems a bit long, how about 'Suppressed Roman Catholic saints'? Walgamanus 21:15, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
