Isn't it sad when a Court of Law is required, and able, to settle a intellectual, historigraphical dispute? 2+2=5.Sup dudes?[[User:Kitler005]] 00:54, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

no. it's sad when nazis try to hide their crimes with stupidity. Amoruso 02:39, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Wow dude, are you following me? l@me. I wonder if I should file for a wiki restraining order? WhatevsSup dudes?[[User:Kitler005]] 18:55, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

Stupidity? I assume that means Lipstadt was willing to be cross-examined or is now willing to debate? She should win handily, seeing as her opponents, "the nazis", are so stupid. Encourage her, another smashing victory would be grand - a victory without the tainted influence of $ and power - just facts and logic. I can see her taking a victory lap now. Cheering crowds of Harvard, etc students rushing the stage ( to carry her on their shoulders/ maybe to beat up "the nazis"). I'm sure she would win in an open debate - aren't you?

In other words, you want a do-over, and will continue to request them until you "win". Gzuckier 18:17, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

"A do over"? I'm sorry I missed the first debate - you caught me napping on that one. Do you have a link to it? I was under the impression that a debate was declined - sorry. "win"? - what's to win? Scholarly debates/research/etc are usually so low budget that "win" usually means a better parking space in lieu of cash. "Just the facts mame" is all we can "win" unless there is a bigger political game in the background. Is there? Ms Lipstadt would have to read Grubach et al on CODOH before a debate - would as in prudent. Her views on intermarriage would require a good PR team to smooth over the edges, as would some of her other opinions/facts. It would be fun to see - I wont hold my breath though.

You want Irving to "cross-examine" Lipstadt on intermarriage? ??? Gzuckier 21:43, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

They can cross examine/debate any issue they want - that is just one issue that I believe Irvin was grilled on in the libel trial. Irvin/et al probably think/thought it was a silly issue he was grilled on ( interesting to know her views - you may not know it yourself - I believe she wants Jewish blood to remain untainted by the goyim - I agree with her, don't you (( this is minor sideline detail of personality and prejudice/not central to the holocaust)) ).

[edit] David Irving v. Penguin Books and Deborah Lipstadt

Could someone make a discussion of the wikisource:David Irving v. Penguin Books and Deborah Lipstadt case? This is a very important topic in historiography, jewish studies and WWII politics. This really deserves to be in WP. Witty lama 18:50, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
