It's Not Over (1998) |
Debelah is the first album of American singer Debelah Morgan. It was released in the United States by Atlantic Records on June 14, 1994. Morgan's stage name was simply Debelah then, and Morgan released this album and its singles with this name.
Atlantic Records didn't promote this album well, as it was only released in U.S.A. and Japan, this album is her rarest release. She was dropped by Atlantic after its release.
The album criticised well, but not great. Mostly it has been considered as "decent, bu not impressive", so critics didn't notice it because "a debut should be impressive". But critics also said that Morgan has got potential, also comments like "at least she was a good R&B singer but hadn't got good material" came out.
The album produce two singles: "Take It Easy" and "Free". Both of them were less successful, because they weren't promoted well. Despite this, Morgan had got a little community of fans at U.S.A. with this album.
