Deb Miller

Dr. Debra Miller received her Ph.D. in Art History, with specializations in Northern and Italian Renaissance, Baroque, and American Art. Her teaching experience includes undergraduate, graduate, and study abroad courses for the University of Delaware, Bryn Mawr College, and presently, Rutgers University-Camden and Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia.

In addition to her classes in European and American Art, Professor Miller offers topics in Cross-Cultural Art History (Pre-Columbian, Native American, and Polynesian Art). The former Director of Gallery 911 @ Revsin, 911 Arch Street, Philadelphia, Dr. Miller serves on the Board of Directors of Da Vinci Art Alliance. She maintains a schedule of curating and jurying exhibitions there and at venues throughout the world, and is a staff writer for Inferno arts newspaper in Millville, NJ.

Dr. Miller has received grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Kress Foundation, the American Philosophical Society, and the Pennsylvania Humanities Council, among others. Publications include the fully illustrated catalogue, Artists of the Warhol Circle Then and Now, and the first monograph on Andy Warhol’s Factory photographer Billy Name (Billy Name: Stills from the Warhol Films).
