[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Dttwcover.jpg)
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Dttwcover.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 17:28, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Aged requests
I would just like to compliment you on your great work at Wikipedia:Articles requested for more than a year. It is especially impressive that many of the articles you are writing on these obscure subjects are more than brief stubs. Also good work culling some of the requests that don't deserve articles. One thing to note is that because of the way aged requests page is updated, unless you also remove the poor requests from the main requests page, they will reappear on the old requests list. For instance Kopikats still appears on Wikipedia:Requested articles/music, and thus still registers as a long unfufilled request. - SimonP 22:03, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
