Originally from: Nottinghamshire

I studied Economics at Hull and graduated in 1997.

I currently work in Internal Audit at the BBC.

I became aware of Wikipedia a long time ago via a friend of mine who edits here occasionally (user:San_de_Berg). In early 2004 I attended a presentation that Jimmy Wales and Angela Beesley (from the Wikimedia board) gave to BBC staff, which tweaked my interest - but it took me a while to find the time to register.

I spend a chunk of my spare time editing for the Open Directory Project. I also enjoy Scuba Diving and am currently qualified to the PADI Advanced Open Water standard.
