Deathstars are an industrial metal band formed in Gothenburg, Sweden in January 2000. They were originally known as Swordmaster, but they decided to change their name and the direction of their music. The current lineup consists primarily of members from Swordmaster, but also has former members of Dissection and Ophthalamia. The band consists of Whiplasher (vocals), Nightmare Industries (guitar, keyboard), Skinny (bass, backing vocals), Bone W. Machine (drums) and Cat (guitar).
