NWOBHM Band Witchfinder General's first album. Released in 1983. They were influenced heavily by Black Sabbath and like Sabbath, they took their name from a film. This album received some criticism for the semi-nude woman on the front cover.
The genre of the album is doom metal, and the influence of early heavy metal bands like Sabbath can be heard.
