Dear Adil

Dear Adil is an episode from the TV Series Arthur. The episode is about Arthur writing to his pen pal Adil from Istanbul, Turkey.

Arthur, not sure what life is like in Turkey, looks at a series of comic books which depicts the country in a stereotype fashion (IE: People riding on camels and living in tents) and at first believes to be how Adil lives his life. However, after learning that the comic book portrayed the Middle-Eastern country in a very stereotype image and that Adil did have e-mail, Arthur quickly realizes that he and Adil have a lot in common despite living in different countries.
Dear Adil aired on PBS in September 2003.
