Dean Brogan (born December 14, 1978) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. He was also a former basketballer with the Adelaide 36ers.

Playing with the Adelaide 36ers in the National Basketball League (Australia), Brogan was part of the 1998 side that won the NBL championship. He later quit the sport to focus on Australian rules.

Known as a solid ruckman, Brogan debuted in 2001. When Port Adelaide were premiers in 2004, Brogan became the first sportsman to win titles in both the NBL and AFL.
In 2006, Brogan was involved in an incident at an airport in which he allegedly assaulted Dale Mortimer, an Adelaide Crows fan. On 20th July 2006 Brogan was formally charge by policy for the assaulting a doctor in october 2005. Both these charges are currently before the courts.[1]
