Dead Meat is Andre the Butcher.

Dead Meat premiered on May 1, 2005 at the Polk Theatre in Lakeland, Florida.

In October 2005 the title Dead Meat was changed to Andre the Butcher to avoid copyright infringement. Before the North American video release of Andre the Butcher another movie with the title Dead Meat had been released in Ireland.

Andre the Butcher was released on DVD April 25, 2006 by Rice Power Productions, Tapis Entertainment and ThinkFilm.

Actor Ron Jeremy stars as the villain, Andre the Butcher, an urban legend in the backwoods of central Florida; where a group of cheerleaders have become stranded and must try to survive along with two escaped convicts and local law enforcement.
