DeAndre DeWayne Lewis, aka. D.D. Lewis (born January 8, 1979 in Bremerhaven, Germany) is an American football linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and became an undrafted rookie. Despite his chances of making the team against veteran outside linebackers, ironically he did not just only make the team, but as a rookie, played in all 16 games. During Super Bowl XL, he was the linebacker that blocked Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger during a controversial touchdown call. With the acquisition of Julian Peterson, D.D. Lewis is no longer a starter.
