Category talk:Dead Scientologists

What is this? Why is it necessary? It raises POV issues- I don't see a dead Christians category. A dead Jews category. A dead Muslim categories. None of those would go over well. CanadianCaesar Et tu, Brute? 01:27, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

  • Now I see it was created to distinguish deceased Scientologists from former-Scientologists. Not POV, though I'm still not quite sure it's useful. CanadianCaesar Et tu, Brute? 01:39, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
    • I created it because of a controversy about how to label Lisa McPherson (for a while she was listed as "Former Scientologist" but since she never left the group prior to death a new category had to be created for her). Since this is my very first major project on Wiki it isn't going to be perfect but hey it's pretty good for a first try eh? The Fading Light 9:23 (normal time), 22 March 2006
