Daylight Basement is a Seattle-based indie-electro-rock group.

The group started in August of 2005 as a solo project for Bre Loughlin, the lead singer of the band Kuma. Many local artists have collaborated with Bre, including Davis Martin, who is know as the Maktub drummer, David Bos, the guitarists of The Jeunes, and Joey Veneziani, the keyboardist and programmer of Secret Civilians. The group debuted their first album Any Kind of Pretty December 2005.
