Day With Mary

Day With Mary is a four piece rock group from Liverpool, playing a mix of rock, metal and punk music that their fans affectionately refer to as 'popcore', sometimes 'riffcore'. The band was formed from the ashes of other Liverpool groups such as Dog Flambé and Lionize and has recently settled on a comfortable line-up. Day With Mary are playing their last two gigs ever in Liverpool in December 2006, and will be splitting up soon after.

Since late 2002 DAY WITH MARY have been touring, releasing records and gaining European press coverage with rave reviews of live shows and recorded material alike. The first release Generation Dead was followed by a 30 date UK tour with stops at Dublins rock festival and shows across Germany by demand. Generation Dead sold out almost instantly and received high levels of press and public acclaim. Believe In What You Want (2004) was a release that signified the arrival of DAY WITH MARY onto the Brit Post Hardcore scene. Followed by another lengthy tour of the UK a broken van and some Mary vs Police action Believe In What You Want became the 2nd sold out release by an unsigned band, with copies having to be replenished in National record stores each week. Believe in What You Want also secured the band support slots with bands such as Coheed & Cambria, Hundred Reasons, Fightstar, Armor For Sleep & Gratitude to name a few. DAY WITH MARY have recently self released their 3rd record The Story Starts Consists & Ends With You an epic record bridging the gap between Pop and Post Hardcore, with manic post hardcore riffs and uplifting popesque epic chorus. After recently completing a tour with Penknife Lovelife and winning over the hearts and minds of teenagers nationwide DAY WITH MARY continue to display the most energetic live shows, which they have become synonymous with and bring us songs to listen, scream and dance to..
