Daxini or Dakshini Society is a residential area in the suburbs of Ahmedabad, the largest city in the state of Gujarat, India. It is widely known for being a large Marathi speaking community outside Maharashtra. It is also famous for its festivals and culture activities related to its Marathi background. The largest of them being the Sarwajanik Ganesh Chaturthi.
