Dax Shepard

Dax Shepard (January 2, 1975) is an American actor.

Shepard started as a car buff at Walled Lake Central High School. Later, he attended Groundlings School and Groundlings Sunday Company. He also attended UCLA to get a degree in anthropology.

Dax’s acting career started with his film debut in “Hairshirt.” (1998) After performing in a chain of smaller television and film roles, the phenomenon known as “Punk’d” acquired Dax’s skill in improvisation, his talents became further acknowledged. His exposure through “Punk’d” lead to film roles in movies such as “Cheaper by the Dozen,” “Without a Paddle,” “Zathura”, and "Employee of the Month."

On the October 3, 2006 edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Shepard declared that he is a Libertarian and opposed the War in Iraq.
