[edit] Career
Dawn Marie was active in the 1980s and early 1990s. She wrestled primarily in the Japan, NWF (National Wrestling Federation), WWF (World Wrestling Federation) and LPWA (Ladies Pro Wrestling Association).
[edit] Japan
She also competed overseas in Japan. In a 6-woman match in Japan during the summer of 1985, she teamed with Desiree Peterson and Dump Matsumoto against Jaguar Yokota (Rimi Yokota) and the tag team Noriyo Tateno & Itsuki Yamazaki (Jumping Bomb Angels). The heels controlled from the get go due to a sneak attack before the bell. The faces just made brief comebacks during the first 12 minutes. Then Jaguar came in and took control for the few minutes that were the highlight of the match. Dump wound up dominating all three faces, though, and winning, so while adequate it was pretty disappointing because it was so one-sided (13:17).
[edit] World Wrestling Federation
In March 1986, she wrestled for the WWF at the Boston Garden, teaming with Velvet McIntyre against Bull Nakano and Dump Masamoto. Her biggest claim to fame was wrestling in the WWF as part of Sensational Sherri's team at the 1987 Survivor Series. She also wrestled against The Fabulous Moolah at times.
[edit] Independents/Retirement
During the early 90's she competed in the LPWA and wrestled against Rustee Thomas, Kat LeRoux and Reggie Bennett.
