Dawn Caste

The Dawn Caste is one of five castes of the Solar Exalted. First detailed in White Wolf's Exalted (ISBN 1-56504-623-4), and later expanded upon in its own supplement Caste Book: Dawn (ISBN 1-58846-653-1), the Dawn Caste is filled with the soldiers, generals, and champions of the Solar Exalted. The other four castes are Zenith, Twilight, Night, and Eclipse.
[edit] Caste Mark
All Solar Exalted are marked on their forehead with a symbol representing their caste, called a "caste mark". The mark is normally invisible, but once the Exalted begins spending Essence, the magical building-block of Creation, the caste mark glows brightly to the extent that even covering it with layers of cloth will not hide the glory of the Unconquered Sun.
The mark of the Dawn Caste is a sunburst, depicted as an open circle surrounded by eight spokes.

Members of the Dawn Caste are adept at the five martial abilities: Archery, Brawl, Martial Arts, Melee, and Thrown.
In Second Edition, these abilities are now changed to Archery, Martial Arts, Melee, Thrown and War.
Dawn Solars can also use their anima to cause mortal enemies to run in fear.
