Writing an article about yourself breaks a wikipedia rule. If you are noteworth get someone else to write it. Any personal stuff can go on your user page.

[edit] Meech Wells

I submitted the page Meech Wells for speedy deletion since it seems clearly to have been taken from the online bio here. If this is not copyrighted, or you have permission to use it, the best thing to do woul be indicate such on the talk page rather than removing the deletion notice. Feel free to contact me on my talk page as well. Thanks, --Hansnesse 19:35, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

Per our discussion on my talk page, I have recreated a page about Meech Wells with new content. It is short, but can be expanded. A good rule of thumb is that unless it specifically says otherwise, material online is probably under copyright, thus the assumption is the bio is probably not available to be copied. The easiest way to avoid these problems is to only contribute material you wrote yourself. You can also check out Wikipedia's copyrights policy. The Meech Wells article is important, and your contribution is valuable. I hope you will add material to it (and other articles) in the future. Thanks again, --Hansnesse 23:23, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
