David Morose is a Canadian record producer and a musician. Born in Vancouver, Morose is the founder and main force behind the band Born Against Christians. He is the main composer for the band; Ariq Oblivion is the only other composer in the band. The production team of Morose Oblivion have been writing music for a decade now . Some artists and bands they haved work for or with are Hump , Slow Children Playing , Sponge , Crackhouse Champions , Burning People , My days are numbered , Blunt Alchohol Content and Wojack with Snoop Dogg .(Wojack is the cousin of Meech Wells and is from Washington.)

Born Against Christians latest release was mastered by Emily Lazar at the Lodge New York and recorded and mixed in Vancouver,Canada. David Morose and Born Against Christians have also been making music for movies this work is credited in the Movies Adam and Evil 2004 and Netgames 2003. They are currently working on music for Roamerz for the Vancouver based bleak and blunt production and working on XMen 3 in Vancouver.

Morose is also known as Dmutate and he exploded on the underground music scene in the mid-nineties. This era marks a recording and production style that would stay with him even today. The use of noise , drum machines and keyboards in punk style songs crossed with hardcore was the fuel of these first recordings. On early records he produced under the name David Mt for Black Island and this era was inspired by the production of Steve Albini (Big Black). David has worked with Scott Henderson (No Means No) a Victoria producer and friend. The transition from a musician to a producer was a natural process for Morose and he has written and recorded music since he was a boy, his dad was also an audio engineer . He has been working in audio and film since 1993 and will direct his first music video and the movie Roamerz in 2006.
