David Morose is a Canadian record producer and a musician. Born in Vancouver, Morose is the founder and main force behind the band Born Against Christians. He is the main composer for the band since its inception in 1999. Ariq Oblivion is the only other composer in the band. The production team of Morose Oblivion have been writing music for a decade now . Some artists they have worked for are E-40 , The Game , Slow Children Playing , Sponge , Crackhouse Champions , Burning People , My days are numbered , Blunt Alchohol Content and Wojack(Meech Wells.)

Born Against Christians latest release was mastered by Emily Lazar at the Lodge in New York and was recorded and mixed in Vancouver,Canada. David Morose and Born Against Christians have been making music for movies and this work is credited in the Movies Adam and Evil 2004 and Netgames 2003.

Morose is also known as Dmutate and imploded in the underground music scene in the late nineties. This era marks a recording and production style that would stay with him even today. The use of noise , drum machines and keyboards in punk style songs crossed with hardcore was the fuel for these first recordings. He produced under the name David Mt for Black Island an era inspired by the production of Steve Albini (Big Black) and Scott Henderson (No Means No) who is a friend and mentor. In 2005 and 2006 he worked for X-Men 3 productions and worked on multiple records and soundtracks.
