Does anyone have information on David Virtue's doctorate? He often designates himself as "D.D." (doctor of divinity) which is rarely an earned degree these days (except in a very few British schools). The joke goes that "D.D." stands for "_D_idn't _D_o it." The more common terminal degrees in religion are Th.D (doctor of theology), D.Min (doctor of ministry), or S.T.D (doctor of sacred theology from a Roman Catholic institution with a pontifical charter).
