[edit] POV

The man may be a worthless or despicable person, to paraphrase many dictionaries, but we still need to be neutral about him! Rich Farmbrough. 18:58, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

Hi Rich, I was the original editor who really fleshed out the article some yesterday. I was just writing from my memory about the guy so I didn't really go through to comb out the NPOV. Thanks for the copyedits. Note - this guy is really considered scum in Aus (he is a national celebrity for his antics) -- this should be reflected in the article. novacatz 03:31, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Trading costs

Perhaps it might be worth mentioning the cost of selling shares? For example I am the proud possesor of 7 shares in a leading UK company. Were I to sell them through a trditional broker, I would end up out of pocket. I don't know what the AU situation is. Rich Farmbrough. 19:05, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

The situation would be the very similar. Note that the parcels of shares that Tweed targets (being the demutualisation proceeds) generally would be around the A$800-A$3000 mark. This is certainly enough to defeat any trading costs for him. I don't think trading costs is an important part of this case, but you are welcome to add it if you feel important (but note, I just might edit it out if it isn't! <g> <g> <g>) novacatz 03:29, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
