[edit] The RCN Series

For David Drake's comments about the RCN series, see here. I've put some of this info into the article. (My take: Leary is a lot like the young Aubrey but with Maturin's interest in flora and fauna; Mundy is an "Aspie".) BTW, the next RCN book, Golden Harbor, is due Sept 2006 (in hardcover). I've just finished a substantial reorganisation of the article. I've added some interesting information. OTOH, I've taken out some information, mainly because I couldn't see a good place to put it:

• that DD is a "former bus driver"
• that "Drake has a wife, a son, and various pets." (He also has grandkids, BTW.)

Feel free to edit this stuff back in. Please.

By the way, fans of Drake's work and of SF in general will find much interesting material on his web site.
