Davy Jones (born June 1, 1964 in Chicago) won the 1996 24 Hours of Le Mans together with Manuel Reuter and Alexander Wurz on a TWR-Porsche. He also placed second to Buddy Lazier in the 1996 Indianapolis 500, the first of the Indy Racing League era. He also made 16 starts in CART from 1987 to 1996 including 4 other Indy 500's. Jones also made 7 Winston Cup starts in 1995 for Jasper Motorsports with a best finish of 20th at Darlington Raceway and participated in the 1992 and 1993 editions of the International Race of Champions finishing 8th and 9th respectively.

Jones suffered a serious crash at Walt Disney World Speedway in January 1997. The accident left him with a broken neck, and ultimately led to Jones' retirement from racing.

He is of no relation to fellow racers Parnelli Jones, P.J. Jones, or Buckshot Jones.
