[edit] Athletics

Davis High School has a proud tradition of athletic excellence. DHS is a member of the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section. The Blue Devils have more team championships (86) than any other school in the section [3], although admittedly, the team with the second-most championships (77), Jesuit High School, is an all-boys school. DHS won five section championships in the 2005-2006 school year, in Boys and Girls Cross Country, Boys Soccer, Boys Water Polo and Girls Swimming. Davis High's principal athletic rivals are Woodland High School and Jesuit.
