Davis Sanchez

Davis Sanchez (born on August 7, 1974 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) is a former National Football League and current Canadian Football League cornerback for the Montreal Alouettes.

Sanchez attended North Delta Senior Secondary School, (after attending Seaquam Secondary) but did not play football there, instead playing basketball. He was good enough at basketball that he played one year at Capilano College. He started playing football in a men's league in Vancouver. He then played college football at the University of Oregon, but due to injuries only played in a limited number of games.

Sanchez was selected 6th overall in the 1999 CFL College Draft by the Montreal Alouettes. In 2001, he signed with the San Diego Chargers, where he played 2 seasons. He returned to the CFL in 2003 with the Calgary Stampeders. And in 2004 he was traded to Montreal. In 2005 he was on the move again when he signed with the Edmonton Eskimos. On February 18, 2006, he was traded again to Montreal for Reggie Durden and Rob Brown. This is Sanchez's 3rd stint with the Als.
