Davis Miller

Davis Miller is an American author notable for a series of books combining autobiography, a fascination with the life and careers of Muhammad Ali and Bruce Lee, and an innovative approach to writing. His best known work is the non-fiction novel The Tao of Muhammad Ali. Miller also regularly writes for numerous magazines and newspapers, including Esquire, GQ, Men's Journal, the Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, Independent on Sunday, and many others. His stories have been anthologized in The Beholder's Eye: America's Finest Personal Journalism, The Best American Sports Writing of the Century, The Muhammad Ali Reader, and The Best Americin Sports Writing, 1994. Miller is currently teaching a magazine writing seminar at the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
