David Conway, born 16 March 1936, became a professional soloist in 1957. joined "The Monarchs" in 1961, and teamed up Pauline, who was principal dancer with "Yana's Show". They married in 1968.

Today David and Pauline "The Conways" are a very popular act. They perform with celebrities from all over the world and are regular guests on the "Danny La Rue" variety shows in Great Britain.

Each year they are regulars at the Hansa Theater in Hamburg, Germany.

He wrote "Memoires of a Monarch" 'Forty Five years of Variety,' (Sixty six years of fun). A book well-worth having for a harmonica enthusiast.
