David Wingate (born December 15, 1963 in Baltimore, Maryland) is a former professional basketball player in the NBA. The shooting guard/small forward had a 15 year career spanning from 1987 to 2001. He played for the Philadelphia 76ers, San Antonio Spurs, Washington Bullets, Charlotte Hornets, Seattle SuperSonics and New York Knicks. Wingate retired with the Sonics in 2001 after not playing in 2 seasons.

He attended Georgetown University.
