David Wiffen (born March 11, 1942 in Surrey, England) is a Canadian folk music singer-songwriter.
Wiffen moved to Canada at age 16, and became part of the burgeoning folk music scene. In 1965, he was invited to perform at Vancouver's Bunkhouse club on a live ensemble album; it became Wiffen's first solo album when the other invited musicians failed to show up.
He was subsequently in several bands, including The Children, whose members also included Bruce Cockburn, Sneezy Waters and Richard Patterson, and 3's a Crowd, whose members also included Colleen Peterson and Brent Titcomb. Wiffen also cohosted a television variety series on CJOH with Ann Mortifee.
Wiffen subsequently signed to Fantasy Records as a solo artist. He released an album for the label, and had hit singles with "One Step" and "More Often Than Not".
Following Wiffen's 1973 album Coast to Coast Fever, his career was cut short by a severe back injury. He did not record a new album until 1999.
