David Wells (medium)

David Wells is a spiritualist medium and astrologer. Wells claims he discovered his abilities after suffering from pneumonia, learning astrology and studying the Kabbala to "ground" his abilities.

His work includes appearances on Jane Goldman Investigates, Psychic Interactive and (currently) Most Haunted. He also serves as the official astrologer for LivingTV, NOW Magazine (UK) and The Scottish Daily Record. Before working as a medium, he served in the Royal Navy.

Wells first served as a guest medium on Most Haunted in 2004, but eventually replaced medium Derek Acorah. In contrast to his predecessor (who appeared to be for the most part clairaudient) Wells seems to be clairvoyant or possibly clairsentient. Wells also occasionally employs the use of tarot cards and scrying mirrors as aids to communicating with the dead.

He was born in the community of Kelloholm in Scotland.
