David Wayne Turner (Songwriter)

David Wayne Turner (b. mid 20th century, d. late 20th century), the legendary American Nashville songwriter was the son of Betty Jane Byrd (later to be the wife of Ralph Byrd Sr.) and Mr. Turner. David Wayne Turner's half brothers and half sisters (maternally) include Willa Dean Ames [nee Burns] (wife of Steve E. Ames Sr.), Ralph Byrd Jr., Buck Turner, John Burns, Rick Byrd, Anne Turner and Melba Jean Hubbard (divorced from Owen Rue Hubbard). David's published, verifiable works include BMI credit for composing country and western legendary music such as Kenny Roger's "Lucille". David was a private man, however he did spend his last days with his immediate family, finally succumbing to pervasive, chronic cancer.
