David Shannon

David Shannon is an American author and illustrator. He was born in Washington D.C and grew up in Spokane, Washington. He graduated from the Art Center College of Design and now lives in Los Angeles. Arguably his greatest achievement in life is the 1998 winning of the Caldecott Honor for his No, David!. He also wrote A Bad Case of Stripes, How Georgie Radbourn Saved Baseball, The Amazing Christmas Extravaganza, and The Bunyans.
