David Robertson (born September 23, 1986 in Livingston) is a Scottish footballer who currently plays midfield for Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League.

Robertson made his debut for United in January 2006, in the 1-1 draw against Aberdeen, when he came off the bench in the last few minutes to replace player/manager Craig Brewster who was injured while making his second debut. Robertson scored his first goal in April 2006 in 3-1 league defeat to Livingston, and his late extra-time winner sent United through to the Scottish League Cup 3rd round in August 2006.

In 2004-05, Robertson was the top scorer in the SPL Youth League, despite playing from midfield.
