David Reed (politician)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

David Reed (born 24 April 1945) has been a British Labour politician.

In 1970, he was elected at the age of just 25 as Member of Parliament (MP) for Sedgefield. However, the constituency was abolished in the February 1974 general election - and Reed has not returned to Parliament since. The Sedgefield seat was re-created in 1983 boundary changes, when future Prime Minister Tony Blair was elected as its MP.
