David R. Craig

David R. Craig is the Harford County Executive and was sworn in on July 7, 2005. He was proceeded by Jim Harkins who resigned to become director of Maryland Environmental Services.

Craig was the mayor of Havre de Grace, Maryland in 1985, 1987, 2001 and 2005. In addition, he was an assistant principal at Southampton Middle School in Bel Air, Maryland. He resigned from both positions upon swearing in as the county executive.
