David William Proctor (born May 4, 1984 in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire) is a Scottish footballer who currently plays in right-back or right midfield for Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League.
A right-sided player, Proctor signed for United on August 11, 2006. Prior to coming to Tannadice, Proctor was with Inverness Caledonian Thistle, the club he joined in 2003. Proctor made thirty-one appearnces for the Highlanders, after joining from Hibernian.
Manager Craig Brewster was pleased to get a player he had managed previously at Caledonian Stadium, stating: "I am delighted to finally get David. He is a good solid defender but can also pose a goal threat going forward." [1]
