David Omand

Sir David Omand, GCB, is a former senior British civil servant.
From 1996–1997 he was Director of the Government Communications Headquarters, before being appointed Permanent Secretary of the Home Office. In 2002 he became Security and Intelligence Co-ordinator in the Cabinet Office.
He is now a Visiting Professor at King's College London.
