David Oliver Allen (1800–1863) was an American missionary, born at Barre, Massachusetts.

He graduated at Amherst College in 1823, studied at Andover Theological Seminary, and in 1827 went to Bombay, India as a missionary. His History of India was published at Boston in 1856.
