David Mechner

David Mechner is a US amateur 6-dan Go player, and is one of the highest-ranked non-asian Go players in the world. He was a student of professional player Janice Kim (then 1-dan) and later an insei in Japan, studying under Oeda Yusuke (9-dan).
He is the brother of Prince of Persia game creator Jordan Mechner, and was the rotoscope model for the Prince of Persia character's acrobatic movements and stunts.
