David McGurn (born 14 September 1980 in Glasgow) is a Scottish footballer. He is currently playing for Greenock Morton in the Scottish Second Division.

David McGurn began his Morton career in 2003 when he was signed by John 'Cowboy' McCormack from Hillend Boys Club.

In his first season McGurn was second in line behind first choice goalkeeper Craig Coyle. He spent all of season 2003/04 on the substitutes bench and never actually got one minute of first team action.

McGurn is, technically speaking, in his second spell with the club as he was released by McCormack in May 2004. However, the search for a new back-up goalkeeper was unfruitful and a new contract was offered with the new season fast approaching.

He has been the regular first choice goalkeeper for Morton since Jim McInally replaced McCormack as manager. When McInally took charge Coyle was out injured and from there McGurn retained his place in the side until the present day.

McGurn is in a select club of goalkeepers to have scored in a match when he scored against Morton's arch rivals St. Mirren with a kick out, albeit in a non competitive 'bounce' match.

He combines playing duties with his role as goalkeeping coach at Morton.
