David Feldman (Australian Politician)

Cr. David Feldman is the Mayor of the Glen Eira City Council in Melbourne, Australia. He was elected into Tucker Ward in November 2005. He received a primary vote of 4,951 votes out of 22,022 formal votes. Consequently he was elected Mayor of Glen Eira. He previously ran for Mackie Ward in March 2003 Glen Eira elections but only received 508 primary votes out of 21,868 formal votes.

Prior to being elected to Council, Feldman worked as an IT Manager with experience in local government, regional Victoria and the United States. Feldman was a former president of the Ratepayers' Association of Glen Eira (RAGE) Inc.

He has Graduate Certificate of Management and is studying for a Masters in Management and Certificate in Business Administration. Feldman is also a volunteer with the CFA.

In March 2004, Feldman then President of RAGE was allegly attacked by former Glen Eira City Councillor Noel Erlich. Feldman went to school at Melbourne Boys High School and graduated in 1993.
